Holes

The Weather changed for the wose and Stanley thinks back on the golden thumb without any results.

Twenty years later, Kate Barlow returned to Green Lake, wich was a ghost town because it stopped raining since the time she left it. Unfortunaly, Trout Walker and his wife, who has been a student of Kate find her and they torture her. But they never found out more than that she ha burried it, because she was bitten by a yellow-spotted lizard.

Stanley and Zero make a agreement, in wich Stanley promise to teache Zero and Zero digs part of Stanleys hole. The other boys dislike that, because they find it unfair.
While teaching, Zero sais his real name: Hector Zeroni.

This Chapter is again a falashback 150 years ago. A coloured man called Sam. He sells oniens wich have healing powers. Kate Barlow askes him to fix somthing on the school building and while he repairs it, she enjoys talking with him. She askes him to fix all sorts of things to keep chatting with him and in the end she kisses him. The onionpicker should be punished for kissing her by his live.

Mr Sir is very angry: At breakfast he gets vionlent to a boy and he refuses to fill Stanleys canteen.

Kate Barlow lives about 150 years ago. She is the a good looking woman who is very intelligent and the teacher in her small village. She makes a special kind of peach splish and everyone loved it. In her class there was also a young man called Trout Walker who is stupide and only in interested in the teacher. He tries to ask her out, but she refuses it.

Back at the camp, Stanley offers Zero to teach how to read, and he accepted. Zero is a clever student, who can memorize something he heared at once. He is also very good in maths.
In his bad Stanley thinks back to the thing he found in his hole, and remembers that they have the other part of it at home. This makes him think that the initials on the case might stand for Kate Barlow

Stanley returnes to his hole. He tells the others raffly about his visite at the Warden. In the time Staly was not there, Zero has dug on on Stanleys hole.

The Warden dosen't care at all about Mr Sirs sunflower-seeds-problem. She takes a poisones nailpainting and poisons Mr Sir by putting some of this into his face. He won't be dead, she calmed.

When the water truck came. Magnet steals the sack of sunflowers. All together eat them and beacuse of a unlucky coinsidence the sack was in Stanleys hole when the Watertruck comes. Stanley saceficed himself to protect the others and Mr Sir brings him to the Warden.
